Nursery Boereboom Stekcultures is specialised in the propogation of ornamental crops by means of cuttings. Our yearly avarage production is +/- 6.000.000 cuttings on order.

Our specialised assortment consists of; Andromeda, Camellia, Diosma, Euonymus, Ilex, Hydrangea, Leucothoe, Osmanthus, Pieris, Prunus, Photinia, Rhododendron, Skimmia, Viburnum.

New species are possible whereas exclusivity can be guaranteed. Multiple cuttings in a cup has become a specialty of us. The starting material of the cuttings is provided by the customer, the remaining cuttings are purchased.

Our greenhouse consists of 8250 m2, of which 6500 m2 is equipped with soil heating. The remaining 1750 m2 is used for propagation and wintering of the cuttings without soil heating. The cuttings are rooted in self-developed propagation tunnels equipped with a low-pressure misting system. The climate is automatically controlled and regulated. Pests and diseases are controlled by integrated pest management. When the cuttings are rooted, they are immediately fertilized and possibly mowed, in consultation with the customer.

To keep the cuttings in optimal condition during transportation, a cold store is present. The transportation of rooted cuttings, from nursery to customer, is done entirely with the use of Danish carts, a transportation company will be consulted.
